Ruby's boyfriend has been injured by a bullet in the shoulder while his men have rescued him from an imprisonment sentence. When two of his men come back with a doctor, she begs him to save his life. After the doctor has tended the patient, Thatcher orders his men to kill the doctor. Ruby begs him not to harm the man who saved his life. Then in a flash of light, Thor appears and while the hero rounds up the mobsters, Thatcher escapes with Ruby. He takes her to Blake's office and holds Jane hostage. While Thor arrives and rescues Jane, he tries to run away again. Then Ruby understands that she means nothing to Thug when he tries to shoot Thor regardless of the risk of hitting her by accident. During his attempt to escape, Thatcher falls off a girder to his death but Thor saves him. Then to protect Ruby from more bad choices, Thor removes all traces of Thug Thatcher from her memory.
