The three stories in this issue are just plain awful rushed up jobs. This one at least had a more decent set up, but it went nowhere with it and left a lot of questions in the air? Where did those crooks find ray guns? How did they manage not to get detected initially? And more importantly, how come barracudas are not friendly towards Bubbie?

Nice not to have the Nazis be behind this one. But the ending was just ridiculous. They just gave up? Disappointing ending.

They're definitely laying off the war stories now. They aren't even pimping war bonds anymore. I guess people were pretty confident that it was pretty much a done deal. I'm no history buff but I would have thought we were still a couple months away from that point.
