Issue Blurb
It's Halloween in Rutland again, the Avengers make an appearance for the annual festivities. The Wasp soon finds herself being drawn into a web of a newcomer named Valkeryie, which could give the term 'Battle of the Sexes' an all too literal meaning.
Issue Notes
This is the first appearance of the Rutland Halloween Parade in mainstream comics. The parade is a real-world event with a super-hero theme that is held annually in Rutland, Vermont. Much of the parade's development and promotion was done by Tom Fagan who is depicted in the issue. Fagan also has a letter in Avengers #88 with a report on the actual parade that year.
