In December 1978 Machine man was cancelled (after 9 issues). He next appeared in three issue arc in Incredible Hulk #235 - #237. What happened there leads direct to the events in his relaunched series (with issue 10 - after nine-month hiatus). From that point Machine Man lives among people.
Because of this Machine Man #10 is placed after Machine Man's appearance in Incredible Hulk (v1) #235 - #237.
