I feel like Predator should have been patient here. Yeah he's hungry but revealing his existence by using his powers ran the risk of making things worse for him. Just wait it out, Dagger will overflow and you'll get your light.

Well, they weren't trying to take down drug dealers, so that's a bit of a change of pace. Yeah, yeah, I get it, Cloak's angst has been well explored to this point. But going up against a literal demon and the soul of Jack the Ripper is a pretty big departure from what we've seen so far with street level criminals. Maybe if we hadn't seen SOOOO much of the earlier stuff, you guys might be judging this more kindly.

Go ahead and try to convince me Tyrone didn't have an earth-shattering orgasm when Tandy overloaded him with light. I will die on this hill.

We saw Cloak was innocent, but the cops still think he went on a killing spree, right?

First comic in the Order with DeFalco as EiC?

Sweet, Jack the Ripper, He is always a fascinating subject filled with speculation of where he went.

Is the Predator a new concept? I thought it was, but he apparently has previous appearances. But are those retconned appearances? I reacted to him as if he were new and at first I didn't like it, but I grew to actually kind of like it by the end.

I do agree with many others here that they are way overusing the whole "omg Cloak's powers are gone!" twist. It's gotten old really quick.

Predator was depicted as lurking eyes in Cloak's darkness for several issues prior to this.

Worst summary ever:

Cloak and Dagger learn that neither they nor anyone else is truly all light or darkness.

Again.

If this hadn’t been published a year before /Family Matters debuted, I’d have sworn that was an Urkel cameo in the half-splash page where Dagger starts looking for Cloak.

I totally saw Urkel in this too.

I think there's a germ of a good idea here but it could have been put into a mystery format within their series of whether Cloak was doing the killings or not. Mantlo pretty much revealed all the players up front instead of building a suspense with the readers to allow the suspense and mystery unfold. Mantlo just does not have the subtle touch with storytelling....

It may be a unique spin on the theme, but it's really the same story over again, only made slightly more compelling than normal due to the Ripper's spirit.

Kinda split, but I can't give this more than 2 stars in spite of the spin on the same theme. Maybe somebody other than Mantlo try scripting them for awhile? He can't seem to break away from the same thing with these two.

Enough with stupid Cloak and Dagger already.

Yeah, they make delgado out to be insane the very same book his theory of cloaks ties to demons pans out? And we didn't see any of it? Ok...

I hate Cloak and Dagger. It’s the same story over and over and over again.

Religion does tend to drive people crazy at times.

So what did actually happen with Delgado? I see he has plenty of future appearances, but in this one they say he's dead??

There is nothing about him being dead here. They take him to mental institution. He is crazy but alive

-This was OK, I guess. But it's pretty much always the same story with these two...And I'm tired of the cured/uncured nonsense with Cloak.
