Jeryn, when you set up a promo, talk to your talent about it first. This could have gone real bad.

So Whirlwind has been a stalker all his life it seems.

Don't hate on Whirlwind! If I remember correctly, it was him (as the Human Top) that gave us our first multi-issue story.
The lack of direction for this book is tough, but I was impressed how this felt pretty true to the characters and the themes of the book recently.

"Who's tired of their teeth" line made this worth reading.

Yes that, and the line about warming up the shotgun before you have to eat it.

Worst summary ever:
Danny gets hired to be an escort, and the team reorganizes itself to set it all going forward.

I'm the president and lone member of the Whirlwind fan club, I always love seeing him show up in any title. I think his costumes rad and I like that he's an obsessive weirdo and that characterization has stayed consistent across decades.

VP of the Whirlwind Fan Club checking in. Yeah that helmet just rules. Then again, I really like Porcupine and Paste Pot Pete, so my judgement is very questionable.

I was thinking the story should have ended at the reunion, but no it kept going on...

I almost long for the days when Whirlwind was a chauffeur.
Okay, I'm lying. With the recent trend of making lame villains kind of interesting, or at least the butt of a joke, this attempt with Whirlwind falls flat. I think it's time to retire the guy. And while we're at it, if this is the best this mag is going to get, let's retire it too.
2 stars. Yeah, the lack of a stable creative team means no real direction for this book. It's been a long time now since we've had anything really relevant happen.

I don't know what the thesis is here, but I like the execution. This has a nihilistic joy to it.

It really feels like they don't have anything new to say in this series. We either need for it to end or have a new creative team with an actual vision (the word not the superhero).

I really liked the way Cage was portrayed here, and Rand's feelings at the reunion seemed spot on.

I never want to see Whirlwind ever again. One of the worst villains ever.

A much better demonstration of how Luke has "street smarts" that other heroes don't than the typical "and then Luke went and asked all his contacts and got a lead."

-This title is creeping up on my "List of Dread."
-Would Fisty really wear his costume to the reunion? Really?
-Whirlwind is lame.

Some questionable turns of events with the girl helping the stalker to escape capture. But I liked some of the stuff here with Iron Fist turning on his full wit to find Whirlwind.
Whirlwind moved on from his crush on Janet Van Dyne?
