For once, this is a story that manages to be slightly intricate without getting overly complicated.

Again, beautiful cartoon art by Jimmy Thompson. I really liked this one, a great little noir story...that I honestly think would have benefitted from not having to include Torch and Toro in it.

Wait, I thought Torch WAS working for the police. When did that change? Or did they mean he worked for a different department?

I was waiting for Mitzi to betray Slip but it never came. I guess they really were crazy about each other. A love story for the ages.
