WITNESS true believers, as the reader gets confused by from Beast's backstory, in how old Hank is when we learn from his back story that he got a scholarship to college...despite finishing Professor X's finishing school which is usually BEFORE college!

Clever idea for a Christmas story. Very funny. The Ghost of Christmas Past visits Willie Lumpkin. By mistake! She was supposed to visit J. Jonah Jameson but she got lost. Anyway, poor old Willie (the nicest guy in the world) gets taken to the past, present and future.

Fresh, interesting. Action-packed.
The Beast origin story is nicely woven into the story-in-progress, and used to give a guest character some development.
But it's an action-driven issue.
Not just fighting, either. Plenty of variety as the team face defenses, as well as foes. And two of the team...

This issue was pretty good, but the standout part for me is Beast's childhood. It's not terribly deep or anything, but it's these nice insights into where the characters come from that make the Marvel universe as rich as it is. As goofy as it is, I also liked Professor X using his astral image to break into the Sentinel's lair. Fun stuff.

It ain't Shakespeare, that's for certain. But the book has come a long way. It isn't good yet - but it is better.
Hank's origin is nearly a waste of space and time. People said, wow. He's different. And SCENE!
But the Sentinels are becoming the cornerstone around what will save...
