Review of
Avengers (1963) #52
7/10
I have really enjoyed the story, despite the weird, dramatic villain, some pointless decisions and his illogical jack of all trades weapon's powers.
The story has a good mixture of drama, action and thrill. The villain's motivation is believable and i like that Roy Thomas used a minor character and plot from the past. The supporting characters, the brief appearance of the former Avengers as well as Jasper Sitwell improves the plot as a whole.
The issue seems more like a solo Black Panther, where the Avengers are the guest characters, but it's an awesome introduction of the character. For the first time Black Panther is using a mask that doesn't cover all his face, but i prefer much more the fully one over this.
