Hello. From the age of 12 to 21 ('85 to '94) I was a solid Spider-Man reader. I have all the Spider-Man titles and most of Spider-Man's special appearances in other books during that time frame. I stopped collecting when comic book money became beer money, plus the story lines where not appealing at that time. I felt like I was able to move on with just my fond memories of comics from that time frame. Then I made a great friend at my work who was just a few years younger than myself, who was picking up comic books weekly and left them out for me to read. What hooked and reeled me completely back in was New Avengers #1. Reading those beginning issues and noticing they were making Spider-Man a legit member of the Avengers locked me in to giving Marvel comics a renewed place in my life. It has been on going ever since.
