Sure it has the 60s vibes and cliches all over the plot, but was a very good conclusion to this crossover arc.

I enjoyed the twists and trickeries used by each side to deceive the other, despite its typical everything going perfect and timed. I also liked how the Avengers progress as a team with this new line-up and how they work together with Angel to rescue the X-men.

Black Panther is a good addition to the team, but the Avengers needs new members to be up to the "mightiest team on earth".

Toad at last reacts to Magneto's abuses and stands up to him. The Magneto end, in spite we know it's not definitive, it's a fitting end to karma giving him what he deserves.

Quicksilver continues pursuing the mutant recognition, this time alone with his sister and the weird Toad, forming the new misunderstood team.

On these years when the heroes are in doubt they always assume the easiest way to misunderstand situations that lead to fight. That's why Cyclops takes the Avengers as Magneto's robots to deceive him, even after he sent Angel for bring them.

John Buscema art is good with those exciting action panels and character poses.
